Number of Years Teaching: 5 Number of Years at Merton: 5 Teaching Philosophy: - My main goal in teaching vocal music is to provide students with the opportunity to learn more about themselves through a wide variety of genres of music and through their own singing voice. I believe that singing is an extremely important and personal matter which is directly tied to one's self confidence and feelings of self worth. Studying choral and vocal music not only gives students the opportunity to learn and enjoy music, but more importantly grow as confident and well rounded members of the 21st century society.
