4th Quarter Information Technology Project Checklists
Scratch Unit Checklist:
Short summary of each lesson (What did I learn?)
Created a program that used each of the elements in that unit.
Digital Photography Checklist:
Summarize at least 10 things about digital photography basics (What AND Why)
Bring in your own camera/cellphone to take a series of 5 or more pictures and arrange them in a collage.
Wordle Checklist:
Write a list of at least 15 adjectives that describe you as a person
Go to www.wordle.net and create a wordle of those words and your first name. Make sure that the words you want to emphasize are copied in the wordle more times than the others.
Print out your wordle in black and white and hand it in.
Picture and Story Checklist:
Bring in or take a picture of you and some friends doing something.
Write a one page story about the picture. It can be fact or fiction. The picture should be included in the one page.
Using publishing tools, arrange the picture and story and add publishing elements (font, size, clipart, other pictures, borders, etc) on one page.
Poetry Checklist:
Write a poem about where you are from. This includes family, home, events that shaped you, and important people, places, and things.
Bring in, take, or draw 5 or more pictures that go with your poem.
Arrange the poem and pictures, add publishing elements (font, size, clipart, other pictures, borders, etc) to have it ready to print.
8th Grade Graduation Video Checklist:
Create a 20-40 second video about yourself to add to the graduation video. You can use Windows Movie Maker or Photo Story to make it.
You may use your ‘About Me’ poem and pictures if you like
Finish it and turn it in on the external hard drive.
All 8th graders must do this.
7th Grade Video Extension Checklist:
Create a video about a school-appropriate subject of your choice.
Make sure you have no shots longer than 10 seconds, and at least 10 different shots.
Edit the movie together and turn it in on the hard drive.
May work in groups, for each person working on it add 1 minute to the total length of time (1 person = 1 minute).
